Volunteering with Monarch Services is a powerful way to take action in support of survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking in our community. Whether you are a student, community member, or seasoned professional, there are meaningful ways to contribute your time and talents.

Professional Volunteer Opportunities

Are you a licensed professional interested in donating your expertise to support survivors? We are especially seeking licensed clinical therapists who specialize in working with survivors—both adults and children.

If you would like to be considered as a pro bono therapist please complete our application and we will follow up with you.

Volunteer Program

We also offer volunteer and internship opportunities for community members and students looking to support our mission.

Volunteer roles include:

  • Crisis Line Volunteer
  • Children and Youth Support Group Volunteer
  • Shelter Program Volunteer
  • Education and Community Outreach Volunteer
  • Office/Admin Support Volunteer
  • Office/Admin Support Volunteer

Requirements to Volunteer:

  • Completion of our 65-Hour State-Certified Peer Counselor Training (required for roles involving direct client support)
  • Commitment to social justice and ending domestic and sexual violence
  • Criminal background check via LiveScan
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Minimum one-year volunteer commitment

Note: If you are under 18 or unable to complete the 65-hour training, we may still have opportunities available. Please indicate this in your application.
